Frio Canyon Baptist Church
PASTOR
Rev. Jeff Janca is our Pastor at Frio Canyon Baptist Church. He is a native Texan born and raised in Houston. After graduating Howard Payne University, Jeff has served as Pastor, Associate Pastor, Youth Director, and Music Director in Texas Baptist Churches. He has done revivals in Wyoming, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, New Mexico, and Texas. He also developed a curriculum for a Bible History Class that he taught to high school students in West Texas.
For 3 years, Jeff brought a youth group of High School students to minister at First Indian Baptist Church in Espanola, New Mexico. The group led VBS at the Church, conducting a sports camp and mini VBS to the children at the local Pueblo.
Jeff comes to us from First Indian Baptist Church in Taos, New Mexico where he served as pastor to a congregation from the local Pueblo. Jeff also had the honor of serving as camp pastor at the annual Indian Family Camp at Inlow Baptist Encampment.
Jeff and his wife Pam married after they graduated Howard Payne University and have two grown daughters. Pam enjoys playing the piano and organ. She has taught in private and public schools.
